Roland [Oklahoma]— Lavada “Vey” Huddleston, 78, of Roland died Sunday, June 27, 2004, in Roland. She was born Oct. 16, 1925, in Abilene, Texas. She was a homemaker, a member of Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Roland and the Ladies Red Hat Society in Fort Smith, and the widow of Eual Huddleston.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Roland with cremation under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.
She is survived by a son, Robert Huddleston of Sallisaw; a sister, Imogene Quinn of Washington; and four grandchildren.
