Idda J. Farris, of Wardville, died Monday afternoon in the Veterans hospital at Muskogee. He was 52 years old and had lived at Wardville since 1918. Farris was a veteran of World War No. 1, having served 18 months overseas. The Atoka post of the American Legion is to have charge of the funeral, the time to be announced later as arrangements had not been completed this afternoon. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. W. M. Farris, of Wardville; four brothers, Jerry B. Farris, of Craven Point, New Mexico; T. J. Farris, McAlester, Quimby Farris, Pawhuska, Jim Farris Wardville; and four sisters, Mrs. Lula Wood, Brady, Tex., Miss Elizabeth Farris, Wardville, Mrs. Claude Bangs, McAlester and Miss Tennessee, Dallas, Texas. The burial is to be in the Wardville cemetery.
