The 1910 census states that she had 8 children and 7 were still living. The 1920 census has 4 year old Sherman Sargent living in the household listed as grandson. The 1930 census lists the same grandson as 14 years old. No clue yet as to who the parents were. The family of Chance Washington Sargent was enumerated about 30 households previous to the Turner’s in the 1910 census for Foard County. This was the only family enumerated with that name in that county.
