Jerusha Jane Dyches was born Jan 3, 1835 in Jefferson County, TX, and died Feb 9, 1853 in Bell County, TX. She was the daughter of William C. Dyches. She married Isaac Bass April 01, 1851 in Williamson County, TX.
The only child born to them was Elizabeth Jane Bass, who was born Jan 22, 1853 suggesting that Jerusha died from complications of childbirth. Elizabeth was raised by her grandmother, Jane Dyches (Meek).
